The mystical words of the Sufi poet Rumi come alive to the exquisite music of Persian master Nejad and his ensemble, Ashegan-é Mollana (Rumi's Lovers). The evening will feature Nejad on santur and ney, singer Asghar Yousefi, with a very special guest from Los Angeles, Siamak Pouian on zarb. Accompanying them will be a talented musical and choral ensemble of Iranian and American artists. The performance will include whirling dervishes and readings from Rumi in Farsi and English.
